THE ARTIST

I photograph a select number of weddings each year, giving each couple the time, attention, and care that I believe their photographs deserve.

I’m drawn to weddings with a strong sense of place, thoughtful design, good light, and plenty of room for things to unfold naturally. My approach is observant and editorial, but the experience itself should feel easy. I want you to be present with the people you love while I pay attention to everything happening around you.

Photography, to me, has always been about noticing. The quiet glance across a room. The way someone reaches for your hand. A dress moving through the light. Your friends laughing around a dinner table. The photographs that happen between the photographs everyone expects.

I work entirely on film, using both 35mm and medium format. There is something about the process that continues to draw me in: the way film responds to light, the texture of the image, and the intention required to make each frame. I’m not interested in photographing everything simply because I can. I’m looking for the photograph worth making.

The experience begins long before the wedding day. I work closely with my couples and their creative teams throughout the planning process, helping build a thoughtful photography timeline and making sure there is room for the photographs that matter most. On the day itself, my goal is to be calm, present, and adaptable without becoming another thing you have to think about.

After the wedding, every image is carefully edited and the final gallery is thoughtfully curated. I want the finished photographs to feel cohesive as a body of work, while still giving you all of the little moments you may not have seen happen yourself.

I’m based in California and photograph weddings throughout the state, New York, and destinations worldwide.

When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually chasing light and shadows, finding new coffee shops, editing, or hanging out with my husband and our two doggos.
