I’m Travis, a wedding photographer who blends the art of film and digital to capture moments with intention and honesty. My approach is rooted in storytelling, creating timeless, artistic photographs that reflect the emotion of your day and the people who made it unforgettable.
I shoot on 35mm and medium format film and frequently photograph weddings in New York City, throughout California, and wherever couples invite me into their lives. Whether it's a rooftop celebration in Manhattan or a sun-soaked ceremony along the California coast, I document weddings with a thoughtful, cinematic touch.

Some moments happen on their own. Others need a little direction. I capture both—merging documentary and editorial, digital and film, into timeless wedding galleries that reflect the day as it truly felt.
"As a wedding planner, I get to work alongside many talented creatives—but every now and then, someone stands out in a truly special way. That’s how I feel about Travis Collins.
We worked together for a wedding in Jersey City in April 2025, and from the very beginning, Travis brought a calm, grounding presence that instantly put everyone at ease. That peaceful energy was such a gift for our couple and their families, but what I loved even more was how he instinctively knew when to bring the hype and infuse the day with joyful momentum. He read the room, leaned into the moment, and made magic feel effortless.
Travis is incredibly connected to his work—it’s obvious in the way he captures emotion, movement, and energy through his lens. His signature style shines in every frame, and the final gallery felt less like a collection of photos and more like an intentional retelling of the couple’s story.
Even beyond the wedding day, Travis was an incredible collaborator. From timeline conversations to day-of adjustments, he brought clarity, kindness, and care to every interaction. He’s not just a photographer—he’s a true creative partner.
If you’re lucky enough to work with Travis Collins, know that you’re in expert hands. He’s not only going to capture the day—you’re going to feel it in every photo.

"Where to begin!!! While Travis' wildly beautiful work speaks volumes for itself, I cannot say enough about how he absolutely exceeded our expectations and perfectly captured the energy, love and warmth of our wedding day. Each photo displays his attention to detail and brings me right back to the smallest of moments throughout the day.
What is not necessarily shown in his photos is the amazing level of service and care that Travis took during each aspect and phase of us working together. From a complimentary engagement shoot almost a year in advance of our wedding, to truly earning the title of unofficial guardian angel throughout the actual day of the wedding, Travis went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to enjoy and cherish each moment, without worrying about the logistics that can sometimes come with photographing an event. A true thought/vision partner is what you will find should you book with Travis, and we cannot recommend him enough." - Anna + Carter
I started planning the perfect proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancé) early in the year. I reached out to Travis around February, and for four months, Travis helped me plan the big day in May. Mind you, I live in Colorado. Despite the distance, Travis was incredibly responsive and mindful.
What really stood out to me was how collaborative he is with his clients. I gave him a list of things that I might be concerned about, things that I’d like to see and with that he curated the PERFECT set of locations to take our engagement photos. Moments like this matter deeply: you want everything detail to be just right. Travis understands that and thoughtfully guides you through his creative vision to bring perfection to life.
This is just the planning phase. Being in front of the camera is a different story.
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t done professional photos before, in the moment, you’ll feel as if you had. Travis didn’t rush us into taking photos. He gives you time to get comfortable, creating a relaxed atmosphere that helps you look and feel natural in front of the camera.
Overall, I’m blessed to have found Travis. I stare at the engagement photos he took, literally every day.
